Blocks of white Makrana marble are hollowed out into individual tubes of 6mm thickness, allowing for light to percolate; the tube is then fitted with strip LEDs and fixed onto a wall-mount, the light creating a unique effect as it filters through. The tube serves as the lamp base, while a hand-carved alabaster lampshadefinishes off the piece. As opposed to a conventional lamp, in this case it is the base of the fixture that illuminates, as opposed to the shade atop it.
The fixtures are made of solid brass and engraved with the studio logo.
