Each of these fragrant soy candles has been set within a hand-carved alabaster holder, which is crafted from a single piece of stone and takes 45 man hours to complete. The lid is made from a 3mm-thick brass sheet, laser-cut with wood grains highlighting the main ingredient of the fragrance -- smokey wood.
To create a custom scent for the W_Oud collection, we collaborated with Bombay Perfumery and came up with what is best described as an amalgamation of caraway and bergamot as top notes, cedarwood, cinnamon and leather as heart notes and patchouli, oud, tobacco and musk as the base notes.
Each candle is packaged in a 3D CNC milled MDF box that emulates its holder, painted with PU and featuring a foam lining.
