We revisited the traditional room partition and substituted the metal hinges with a smaller wooden panel, which also allows for the screen to pivot 180 degrees.

Over 100,000 holes are hand-drilled into the 1"-thick panel at 1/8th" spacing, allowing for the entire panel to be hand-embroidered using a zardozi double-needle embroidery technique. The piece is signed with an inlay of hand-cut brass, and customisation of both its embroidery patterns and colour may be availed of.

A total of 600 man-hours for woodwork and 900 man-hours for embroidery go into the creation of the screen.
